Hi there, I'm Marshall Copous, an award-winning freelance colorist, photographer, and filmmaker based in Austin, Tx. I moved here in 2010 to attend film school at UT, and since graduating, I have spent over ten years collaborating on many diverse, wonderful projects in the Austin film community.
As a Colorist, I continuously strive to make every project visually stunning and help filmmakers make their visions a reality. My experience includes feature films, documentaries, music videos, commercials, and narrative shorts. Past clients include: Texas Monthly, PBS, Whole Foods, Snapchat, NatGeo, Spectrum, and SeatGeek, as well as musical artists Shakey Graves, Sweet Spirit, Missio, Big Thief, San Gabriel, and Ghostland Observatory.
My interests as a photographer are wide-ranging: from travel and landscape to portraiture and events. I love experimenting with different styles and capturing unique personalities and places in the world. Some of my previous clients include: Indeed, Goodwill, Scotty McCreery, SXSW, DoubleKnot Pictures, and The Wild Honey Pie.
